Where did you pre-order the bodies from? And have they given you a release date?

When, or if, you find the decal sets for the lotus, let me know. I would like to do one. Although, I was looking at the Layton House decal kit from D-drive. The wings for the cars are pretty close, so I may do that on the C body.

Guess I just found my body for TCS!
That's also pretty close to a Footwork FA13 Mugen Honda, except for the front wing. I would like to get one too, since I have a spare KYOSHO Footwork extended high rear wing.

Can someone tell me the difference between the RM and the RX version of the 103?

Looking on Tamiya's site, there no longer any info on the RX.

Actually the RM is the RX with the old front end. The RX had the hinged front end. Other than that they are identical. The only other difference is that that the RX did not come with a body. I have scanned the RX instruction manual and put it in a pdf if you are interested

Thanks

Is there a reason for going back to the old front end? I assume the RM came out after the RX

Yes, the F103RX came out first before the F103RM.

In fact i have them on pre-order on 2 shops. 6 in total...
Don't know if i will buy them all or just 3 of them.

Both Rc-Champ and Rainbowten will get them soon.

3x 84070 F103 Type C Body parts : 3000yen (March 26th release)

Got a L-Body with wings on it's way from rainbowten as we speak now. Have complete NIB Tamiya decals for the Ligier JS41 waiting for it. Driver will be Martin Brundle for that car.

Also have 4x NIB M-body part-set. Have complete McLaren MP4/13 decals for one, another will be Jordan EJ10 and third will be new Force India 2009.

Got 3x Williams FW18 NIB's too and a Sauber C12 NIB. Not for sale....

If I'm not mistaken, I think one other difference is that the RM comes with the rear ball suspension and the RX comes with the o-ring, correct?

From memory, we found the old rigid front end a little more consistent. The link front had alot of slop. I usually run with the rigid on all my cars, but my latest racer has the link front end with a 3 racing caster adjuster on it. I really like the adjustability!!!

How many degrees of camber do you run?

Ok ill be honest, i have all the gauges etc, but i havent bothered. I tested the setup last night at the local track in practice. I tried it with the top pushed all the way forward, then central then all the way back, and with maximum caster (all the way back) the car was awesome. The forward and central had a little too much steering for my driving, but with maximum caster, the outside tire would rotate so much that it slid the front, and worked very well. I think ill try it just alittle forward of all the way back and that should be the key. Im running the car in the local GT class this weekend at a big event here. Most other cars in the GT class are old touring cars. Only rules is rubber tires and silver cans. My car is a flaming rocket even with a little silver can. So i have some 8yo type A's on carpet, amazing that they still chirp going around the corners! Well im sure the niftech helped!
