that was the 1 thing i couldnt figure out was changin out from tamiya gears. most ran this as a 2nd or 3rd fun class, and askin em to buy more gears kinda sux (granted generally down to 1 or 2 sizes and every1 told each other what they ran later we decided to go fixed gear so no issue)....didnt some1 make a sleeve to go 48/64p. i think their were back in the 101/102 days.

PS- to the the gentlement with that car above, man is it tits!!! idk how any RC road racing enthusiast could not be frothing at the crotch over that in contrast to a touring car. w00t!

Dan's made a metal ring kind of a bushing that would replace the bearing so a standard gear could be used. The HPI spur gears used to come with a plastic bushing specifically for that. Kimbro made some spurs that were reamed out to fit the metric bearing.

f103RM vs f103 (old) whats the difference? if tamiya brings it back, would the old 103s be acceptable. i know they killed off 101/102s a ways back. but just wonderin

The only real diff between the F103RM and the older F103 is the rear pod. The RM comes with the right height adjustable one and the original came with a fixed ride height pod.

Tamiya includes both styles of T-plate mounts, ball pivot and O-ring in the kit. The front end is the same as the original.

Oh ya, the RM comes with an aluminum front body mount, that use to be a hop-up option.

Hope this helps.

Nice 103 hop-ups, Vyger. But how will you fit the ESC and receiver in such a small area? I barely got mine in there just with the stock layout.

Hey Foxx, thanks for the kind words. I've never had a problem fitting the electronics on this chassis. Even when using the shock post instead of the upper shock mount. Now I've only ever used an LRP Compitition or Novak Cyclone ESC. I pair that up with a Futaba FM R113iP receiver and you're in business. You may have to stand the receiver up on it's side, but it can fit. I've done it.

Hey Border, I was actually looking at the Type B diffuser on your site last week. Do you sell it in the carbon fiber print? Just curious. I thought I saw that somewhere. Please let me know. I'm very interested. Thanks.
