Man, am I glad I got my 103R when I did. Now there's all this talk about them being discontinued, soon (?). I knew it would just be a matter of time.

Would a HS-225mg be a good servo to use on one of these. I have a few of those servo's and would be good to use what I allready have.

Thanks

There's a lot of companies that are making after market parts for the F103 now. It's hard to tell what makes the car go fast, and whats just flash. So far, TRG and Kawada are the two I most go for, when I need Hop-ups.

I try to avoid the blue bling like the plague.

What do you like about TRG?

Thats because it doesn't come with one
The 201 bodies will fit with modifications, they are just not TCS legal

it should, if you have the right servo mounts. The 103GT upper deck was originally an option part for the F103 F1 car

Should be fine, if you don't mind clipping the ears off of one. I'm just running a JR z590 in mine. Fast enough, especially for the price.

Ok... I saw that there are a lot of discussion about F1 bodies.

I'm going to have the first body released in about 10 days or so.
Mold is made in aluminium.

The very first body out will be a mid 90 style, low nose.

After this, plan is quite ambitious.

I'd like to release a Sport car, to be used in the GT version, (just to avoid to see dozens of Courage).

It will be an two seat, open cockpit.

Next another F1 body.

And I would like to set a small poll: What era do you prefere?
I would like to see some 80 ground effect car, like this one.

But you can set my job.

Tell me in which direction work:
Ground effect era
Turbo era
2000 style high nose era
New 2009 stile high nose, clean lines (no winglets and so on)

What bodies do I want... The Tyrrell 6 wheeler, the '76 version with the funky side pods and exposed motor... Hey a guy can dream!!!
Some new bodies would be cool, People really want Tamiya to get on the ball and make more bodies again, as that is what is legal for TCS and many house rules...

i would like a body that resembles a newer 2009 style, but doesnt cost $50.plus $25 to ship. and take 3 weeks to get.

Anything from the 80's or 90's would suit me just fine. But if you want specifics, I would like to see a Ferrari 640.
