Would anyone be able to give me some advice on a steering servo.

I have just bought a TA05-IFS R and need a nimple steering servo.

I'm only just getting into racing so don't need anything with a titanium shaft and ball racers formed off the knees of Louis Hamilton but I don't want anything thats going to last me 5 meetings and then grind like a 2 stripper.

Not sure if it makes any difference but I'm using an Acoms transmitter

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

A very good starter servo is the JR Z590m. It has a .15second and 85oz spec at 6 volts which is fine for a beginner TC racer. Best part is the the cost in USD is $40 and it seems to live forever.

Cheers for that but it would seem that its only available in the US. Getting one shipped to the UK makes it more like $70-$80 Which I'm sure you'll agree is kinda steep.

Both servos are basically the same. They both go for about $10 usd..

BOTH Futaba and Hitec are good companies.

The Futaba specs are very very very very slightly better.

But you won't notice the difference in specs..

Take the newer one or whichever one you prefer..
