Can you use futaba crystal on M8 Sythesized fm

what sythasised the module in the radio or reciever and your answer is yes and no i ve done it were it worked at home but the not at the track both radios work on different shifts i think m8 is negative and the futaba is pos.

oppss mean to say i just got a M8 today with synthesized module on the back,but my ? is i have couple of crytals futaba is it gonna work?what do you mean M8 is negative and futaba is pos? thankz again for respond.

its the way the signal are sent between each other ok here it is in laymen terms
pretend futaba speaks spanish and the m8 speaks enlisgh the languages have similarities but they are pronounced different! hope that helps you out!

Futaba crystals operate on the postive shift (sine wave starts earlier), and Airtronics(Sanwa) start on the negative shift(sine wave starts later). What this means is that....nah, it Electrical Engineering terminology, I don't want to confuse people now...

does any body know if AIRTRONICS produces frequencies aside from the standard 27mhz band.

They 75, 40 and 41. The 40 and 41 are used overseas, and here in the US, the FCC has deemed them illegal because they are frequencies used by emergency services. If you do get a hold of these be warned, if you get caught at your local track with these, the FCC will shut down the track unless that channel is stopped being used. That's what I have heard from guys who organize parking lot races...

It all boils down to no the Futaba crystals won't work in a receiver made for a Sanwa/Airtronics radio system. You need to get the right crystals for the receiver in order to get the radio and receiver to "see" each other. Another option is to get a Novak synthesize receiver to go with your synthesize module in your M8.

and i never have tried futaba crystals in my airtronics transmitter or reciver

im sorry, my question was indeed vague: what i meant to ask was aside from the standard frequncies like: 27.255 - 27.125 - 26.995... does airtronics or sanwa have odd ball frequncies in the 26 or 27 mhz range like 26.895 or 27.235

yes, but not under airtronics, but under sawna, they offer the european and japineese crystals, but the fcc banned them for use, or hasn't approved of the use of them
