i call bullshit on 40mph

there is no way the xxx-s would still be in one piece at those speeds my mate crashed his xxx-s at 10mph into a post the chassis broke completly in half AND IT WAS A BRAND NEW CHASSIS

but definatly some good damage there

do yourself a favour get a CF car trf 415 or tb 5 for your speed runs SOOOOO much nicer

Call what you will, i had the car maxed when it hit. And it max's at 40mph with this gearing, thats not a guess, that is what my handheld gps recorded.

Crashing is a funny thing.

I believe you were going at 40mph, did it fly a lot? If it did, that's where all the energy went--into going into the air. Whereas, if it hit it square and stayed on the ground, all the energy just went into the chassis and broke those... But judging by the damage you hit the post in a glancing sort of way and your car flew off in some forward direction...

But yeah, sad to see that happen to your car. Even though at first it was exciting, wasn't it?

There is a guy at my track that broke his xxxs chassis and his shock towers. He held them all together with zip ties and CA needless to say he had some tweak issues.

It did fly, thats how the rear arm broke, and the chassis has a nice crack in it too, the weight of the battery ripped the battery post off the chassis too. I picked up the new arms today, but no one has a chassis and shock parts in stock, so i ordered those.

And yes it was Glorious and sad at the same time. If I'm gonna crash it, it might as well be worth it

Buy a used XXX-S is cheaper...plenty of them around $50 or so with options. Cheaper then buying parts to rebuild. I sold my loaded XXXS+ with tons of options awhile ago for $80. I bought that car awhile ago for $80 as well.

To be honest...you need a new car, use whatever that is left there for spare parts.
