ill bet they just slapped a longer chassis and 10r5 hubs on a 5.2 and called it done. ha. easiest money ever.

though ill kinda miss my mono shocks. i know people say the tubes are more consistant, but i like almost never having to service my mono shock. i fill it and just put the car down for a month between refills.

I wish they would have moved the rear body posts further out like everyone else. Seems like you'd get less body post flex with the post further out (shorter posts needed)

You could have used the brace from the 12R5 for that and drill the extra holes for the tubes

Also have 10R5 but it will be rebuild when I find time.

Now it looks like this:

Exactly. I was just about to order a sheet of carbon fiber to make a wider rear cross brace for my car when I saw AE announce the new car on Facebook. I figured I'd hold off until the new car is out before fabricating anything. I have a spare brace from my 12th scale that move the posts out a little, but not as much as I'd like.

I think the new chassis looks really good!!! It is definately on my wishlist, just have to wait until it is in stock in europe.

Can anyone tell me why there are two pair of extra holes on the side of the chassis next to the chassis braces? I thought it would be to place saddle-pack lipo's but there is nothing in the manual aboout that.

The hole spacing looks like it's for the alu battery holders, to run lipo in transverse position, forward, or back

Wonder if On-Point body mounts will fit this kit ?
