I think everyone messes up mounting there first bodies, forgetting about the foam bumber and wanting to keep the wheels in line with the bodys original wheel wells. Also when you decide to lengthen or shorten the chassis wheel base you have to butcher the front wheel wells again.

So y can convert car for 2S stick pack or use saddle pack, I prefer saddle pack.

Regards!
So you can fit 2S saddle pack.
And when wanting to use 1S it is transverse in the car in front of the rear axle.
I don't see slots for the batterytape to go through. How does that work with this car?
Or do you have to go around the outer edge of the chassis with the tape?

Sorry, don't get it.

For 2s sadle pack I just glue saddles on longer edge by two side tape.
Then use tape to put it on car, just like 1s lipo or 4 cell pack.

Sometimes I do trick with tape like on this movie:
http://www.youtube.com/abrampl#p/u/19/OfmxyPfT_dU

For 1S i prefer just add some weight to rear end. 50-60g lead and I like it.

With this mod with bar from UK I do not like it, because it moves on screws

Why not put the saddle packs side by side between te links and secure it with glasfiber tape?
Like this pic http://abram.eu.org/files/asiora_10R5_20100313_X.jpg
As Mr M.Abramowicz showed.
Or use a "shorty" 2S lipo.
Then you have enough room.
I don't like the idea of putting the lipo in front of the shock mount as this ads more weight to the front and lowers the reargrip.

Default WGT body for RC10R5

Anybody any experience with different bodies for this car?
It seems as if nowadays everybodies choice is the Sophia GT.
What about the Protoform Corvette C6-R?
Is it any good?

Does one notice any changes in the handling of the car using the one or the other body?

Other bodies that work with this car? (EFRA rules)

From what I have heard around here.
Sophia=More aggressive, more steering.
Vette=Less aggressive, less steering.

Good luck finding a vette. Protoform dropped it two years ago. Now it's the Sophia or Parma's Aston Martin DB9.

The McAllister Ferrari is also legal and works very well.

Default The Vette

So there is not much to choose as I understand it.
Any difference in handling characteristics between those two?

I think the Sophia is used the most. So I'll go with that one then.

I'm afraid I don't understand the body rules. Why not allow any body that competes in 1:1 gt racing. 911, Ferrari 430, BMW M3 and so on?

The idea was to be front engine, rear wheel drive, 2door cars. That is what is in the rules.

The HPI Viper, Saleen Mustang, Mazda RX8 and several others are still available but as in all phases of racing people tend to buy the ones that win.
