Hmmm, this problem is easily fixed on the CRC Gen X 10 with the Losi steel battery plate. I am using lipo and added weight with the steel plate and works flawless. No problem here handling lipo.

The DB10R can be fitted with 7.4v packs and an additional weight - all inside the same space as a 4-cell pack - that makes the car handle just as well, but gives you LiPo-addicts the chance to stay on the pace.

Make sure you fit a slower motor through, as with 7.4v the car will go straight to the scene of the accident - pit to trash in one lap!!

Good to see lots of people, and manufacturers joining in with this class.

Here is what was thrown out there from a member at Bending Corners for this class which includes lipo.

I was thinking 17.5 or 13.5. I think anything more than that might be too much for how light these cars are.

Well, I just ordered one of these, and this will be my first 12th scale car. Im UBER stoked! I was hoping to get the Serpent S120...but not at $325. Ill be running this on outdoor asphalt on a medium grip track. Should be quite a blast.

This class looks very interesting.

Does anyone know if testing is going on for a future lipo pack option with the applicable brushless motor like they did in USVTA?

Does anybody know when Associated Parts House gets the RC10R5? It is not on the Associated site with the kits yet, only in the news section...

I'd think parts house should have them any day now. Tower and stormer got them in mid/late last week, most other shops should also be getting them. If you want one now, grab one from stormer, good prices and good service

Do you have the part number for the Losi steel battery plate? What Losi car is this plate for?
