Try this guy. He repairs all the AMB Transponders including PT's and can replace the wire.

Great service and reasonably priced.

Just want to let you know all of mine are still working flawlessly in 1S and 2S onroad configurations for over 2 years.

Thanks Terry.

Is the 9984 one just plug in and it works fine. No extra stuff? Need to have other trans to clone, etc...

I don't need custom one just as is above circled

And it works just like the AMB but smaller?

I'll be using it in 12th

And this is the URL to order correct?

Thanks

Hi Infinite 12th, yes the R9984 is just plug in and go. Nothing extra, no cloning etc, works the same as normal personal transponders.

Online ordering is at www.rclaps.com (send an email to [email protected] and we'll reply with confirmation)

Default Great Service

I bought two and had a little trouble with one of them. The problem is
solved, Terry did an exchange, no questions asked really.
I just wanted to publicly thank Terry and MRT for some top notch customer service.

It is unclear in the pdf instructions on their website, but can you only clone the old version transponders? Can you clone the newer, smaller units?

There are two different "newer ones" (rc4). The latest one (just came out) has 3 wires... as of right now this one can't be cloned... not sure about the earlier 2 wire ones.

Neither of the smaller AMB units can be cloned at mRT, jsut the larger/older units.

And +1k for Terry's customer service. I have about 8 pt's and one recently started acting up on me (after about 6 years of week in week out use) I sent him an e-mail and sent it back. Viola, a couple weeks later he sent me a new one, no charge. Much appreciated.

what i meant to ask is
1) apparently the mrt transponders on sale at stormer's have a unique id
2) if so, can one or how does one order copies of one of these mrt transponder's (in stormer's stock)

sorry if this has been asked and answered, but i can be dense. all the instructions on 'cloning' seem centered around sending in an amb base.

Terry:
My old clone works with the new system just released, it was the older one with the custom molded case and my name inside it. My question is if you made me another will it work on the new system?
