Hi Low_E. They all have 21 numbers, either 20+clone or 20+custom ID. The custom ID can be reset (a new number replaces the original number) be warned you will lose your previous custom ID number! When the ID has been reset you need to check the new ID across the loop on a decoder. Thanks for your order, we have enough stock for regular (standard) PTX versions, the clone transponders are custom made to order so we don't keep them in stock only parts ready to build them.

Hi Ty, thanks for the update nice to hear you have them ok and like your cloned PTX transponders

Re MRT WebShop / www.rclaps.com PTX ordering. Please note we are currently upgrading the webshop store software, the online ordering may be unavailable for short periods the next few days. The old product pages should not be used from Google links etc, be sure to enter the website at www.rclaps.com directly and then click the 'More Info & Ordering' link.

When you say lose you mean that the one of the 20 other numbers will replace the cloned number.

To get this number back you just press and hold the button down? You do not permanently lose your cloned number?

The instruction don't tell you how the transponder is reset.

Hi Terry,

By "lose" you do mean "change" correct? (to one of the 20 alternative numbers)

I've had no problem getting the number back... its very user friendly.

TC,

To get the number back you hold the button down then apply power to the PTX. The LED will display a constant flicker-flash. Disconnect the PTX and it sets back to the original custom/ or cloned number.... Its on the sheet you posted.

Ok, I am trying to order 3 custom transponders but there is no "state" field in the billing address section. Where do I put the state so the credit card validation will pass? I am in the US.

How about here . Not sure if that will work with a CC... but it works with PP.

Thanks Terry

P/s: Btw the new PTX casing seems awesome. Would you be offering the casing to existing PTX users? It seems the base is about the same.
Terry,

After the glitch incidence, there's no more glitch but the transponder stops working (LED light went off) around after 1-2 mins. This puzzles me alot.

Any idea what's seems to be the problem?

Thanks.

I have 4 of them and they have all worked flawlessly...for both onroad and offroad. Great price too.

I have 1 question for the MRT company.

Do you guys support AMB for each transponder you sell (and they don't) or not?

Because as a racer we don't only buy a transponder, we also support them in there website mylaps.com, on which I can still even see my training sessions from 2004!....
and all this for only buying 1 transponder more then 5 years ago!

If everybody starts cloning there transponders, mylaps just might dissapear someday...
AMB will probably survive, because they do more then only RC, (motoGP, ice skating, etc) but losing mylaps would not be nice.

And don't forget, the AMB system was originally developped in the RC scene, at the MACH track in the Netherlands!....

Mylaps.com should still work with your cloned transponder. They are cloning your amb transponder not destroying it. Your cloned number will be the exact same as your cloned one. It should still show your times on mylaps.com

Very possible, I had to send my original to get it cloned.
