Default E4 vs E4RS and E4FS

hey guys, ive noticed that the RS and FS versions of the Team Magic car, are cheaper than the E4, but why? arent they supposed to be more, because they are modified E4s?

The reason why the original E4 is more than the others is that it came out before a lot of the tooling for the plastic parts was competed so they macacined many of the parts from solid aluminum. In fact if you add up all of the just all the aluminum parts it would total about $400.00. The only dowside to the car is that it was designed before LiPos became so popular. It takes about 10 minutes of Dremmel work to make the LiPos fit. If you are the kind of person that spends a lot on billet parts then the E4 is a real bargain.

Hey Ferr

RCRIOT has 2 FS running at our track and they work great...so far only thing we have done to them is a hard foam bumper...and the spring box....we run on ozite with paragon compound and the things are rockets... better corner speed than a TC5 run by a factory driver....

hope this helps in making a decision...

awesome, thanks. I was thinking of the FS, because of the thicker CF. Im not all into aluminum either, so thanks.
