Horizon seems to post high prices until they actually have the product and start selling it. We expect this battery to sell for $85 to $95 in the open market. They are available in this price range at other locations. It is not going to get much cheaper because they are expensive cells to begin with compared to most... quality cost money and in the long run we think they will provide the best bang for the buck.

I only posted Horizon cause my local shop deals through them and I was at work so my time was limited. Pack looks good. I'll be picking one one.

Joel,
I know the manufacturer of the Tekin cell pretty well. It's about the only manufacturer that can match the cycle life of Kokam/Orion.

It should be able to recharged well over 1000 cycles with about a 10% loss in capacity. Voltage and IR are usually closely related to capacity in lipo. This greatly depends on storage temperature, storage time, depth of discharge, etc.

You should also notice, that even at a 1C charge rate, this lipo will charge faster than all the other lipos out there. With the standard lipo charge Constant current/Constant Voltage - the Tekin lipo spends very little time during the constant voltage phase.
