Good question, people say it reduces torque steer, but I dont have any torque steer problems on my R2, but then again, I havent driven it with anything more than a monster stock.

i have run a 15t in my car with plastic shaft holders and noticed no spur chewing or torque steer on it with the spur mounted on the closest to the motor side of the mount

Well let's just hope that the new chassis doesnt have more torque steer... I havent run my car without the aluminum shaft holders, but seen a couple do it without problems. I just dont want to get cought in the main with a chewed spur..

trying not to get too pissy here but did anyone else notice that there's now 3 threads devoted to the same car? You guys jumped all over that corally thread and locked it up because there was already one made and now you get to choose from three for the barracuda

Just to let you know, I think the other Barracuda threads are here for good. Take a look at there post counts. Plus, the Triox Xplosion is actually a different car in means of brands and a FEW noticable changes. So i see no reason to not let the 3 threads remain.

BUT, i should contribute to the thread in a positive way...

Triox is a rip off in my opinion. Go with an R2, unless your a collector of exotics.

So I guess I can start a thread for the rayspeed SD and then the black SD and then eventually the molded chassis SD and as long as the post count is high they can stay?

This thread was created to find out about the Triox X-Plosion, now everyone should realise it is just a Barracuda R2 that has been renamed for the European market. Leave this thread alone now, it should die away quickly enough, if you want help with the car then use the Alex Racing Barracuda thread.
There are two Barracuda threads because a few months back Speedtech managed to get the distribution rights for the USA and so Steve started a thread to announce this and so that people could ask Barracuda R2 questions that were related to Speedtech and the American market.
The original Barracuda thread is just that, and where general Cuda related chat goes on, although a lot of chat seems to go on the the other cua thread aswell recently.

The SD gets a good amount of conversation, start a Rayspeed SD thread when it comes out, I dont see how more threads hurt anyone as long as they are actually useful to help with that car.

Hey Guys ...Just to make everyone happy if you have Questions about the Triox...Chough chough (R2) please take it over to the R2 CUda thread please...so we can make everyone "HAPPY"

Also it`s not about who`s post count is higher or who`s thread is better
