Default RC10L4 pan car RACING????track???specs

I'm living in nova scotia CANADA and live near river side speed way the track specs are:
Opening Day: May 24, 1969
Track Rebuilt & Re-Opened: August 19, 2006
Shape: Oval
Distance: 1/3 mile
Front Stretch: 440 feet @ 6 degrees banking
Backstretch: 440 feet @ 5 degrees banking
Turns: 14 degrees banking
Seating Capacity: 10,000 approx.

I was watching you tube and was watching some videos on nascar pan cars running on small paved oval tracks which are for real size cars.Is this the type of tracks that you could run an rc10l4 I'm curious and interested in this type of racing.Tell me what you think.

try looking for SWTour, he runs cars on velodromes aka bicycle tracks. Most bike tracks are between 250m to 500m.

Are you sure the track is 1/3 mile? or 1/3K, it makes a difference of about 670'.

A 1/3 mile track is 1760 feet. We race on a bicycle velodrome that is 820 ft. (250 meters) and use to run a 333 meter track.

Anything bigger than that - its pretty hard to see the car well enough to race, plus radio issues arise....and it gets hard to keep the cars on the track.

Front Stretch: 440 feet @ 6 degrees banking
Backstretch: 440 feet @ 5 degrees banking

figuring the corners at 75% as long as the straights that would add another 660 ft...so it's possible it's a 1/3 mile track.

I doubt it would be something you'd be able to race 1/10th scale oval cars on.

For large tracks, bicycle velodromes make probably THE Best tracks. We have 2 in the U.S. (Encino Velodrome in CALIFORNIA) and (MAJOR TAYLOR VELODROME in Indianapolis.) that hold R/C Racing. There is one in JAPAN where the WORLDDROME race is held, and one in the UK that is a indoor wooden track that looks incredible.

2001-2012 - South-West Tour R/C Oval Series...will the SWT be revived?
Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)
