Probably won't matter, the way these races are dropping the Master's Class. after I tie Frank's record of 5 in a row they will probably discontinue THAT class too.

OK, how about he's not running one of the foam TC classes... That way it will be a surprise to others as to whether it is 1/12 scale, Rubber tire TC, VTA, or World GT.

We have to see what happens with the entries. So far no one is running back to back classes with the same car and that's the way we plan to keep it. There might be some guys running back to back classes with different cars though. We are spreading it out so you wont run back to back heats with different cars but after the resort we won't have any control over that.

Thanks Chicky, I'm only running one class WGT. Just was curious how early in the day I was going to be thrown to the wolves.

As of today the class order is:

Stock 1/12
Superstock Sedan Rubber
Pro 1/12
Vintage T/A
Stock Sedan
Superstock WorldGT
Pro Sedan

Keep in mind, this is subject to change depending on where the entries fall. But so far, things are good.

The intent is to keep this same class order for all 4 Grand Slam events.

here's a question...

say somebody runs 17.5 at the halloween race...
then they stick it in the show in cleveland...

do they get to finish out the points season in 17.5 for the rest of the 08-09 grand slam series & then get booted to pro, or are they booted immediately?

john

We are going to let them finish out the series in 17.5. If you miss the first race and then make the main at Cleveland and decide to race the next series race you wont be allowed to run 17.5. Hope you can make it!!
