I sent them an email to ask and didnt get a response. About a month ago someone posted they were told it cost too much to produce. But that doesnt make sense. Seems like people would have paid more for it then they were charging so they easily could have raised the price to offset the cost.

I imagine they will re-release it at some point (unless they arent very business savy). Now that lipo is ROAR legal we will see a lot more products out to help with the lipo weight issue.

A friend of mine is working on making some now. The parts have been designed and sent out to the machinist. We will get some info up as it becomes available.

You might find that the car runs better with the weight at the top of the battery instead of on the very bottom. You still need to let the car roll a bit in the corner. I suppose if you can make the necessary roll center changes it will work well.

You might want to PM him or sigearhead. They got one in. It looked good. Slightly heavier then the losi version.

Yes PM RBLove or Sigearhead. Sigearhead would be your best bet. They will be at Nationals.

I am actually making and designing the trays they are out of 304 stainless, and they work awesome, the test car dropped .1 sec a lap consistant through the run adding the tray. Fully loaded car weighed in slightly under weight with nothing added, but the car is within a 1/2 oz witht he plate, allowing for a heavy body and chassis balancing. Chris Doseck is actually going to handle the sales, machining (countersinking) and shipping them. I will post the email and pricing, we will have plates ready for shipping on monday and they are awesome. Perfect fit and weight and they work.

Stay tuned
