Default YOKOMO 3600HVC

In the case i want to run high punch batteries with only 5cells against 6cells 4500/4600 in 8min super stock race.
Could somebody tell me if these cells fit my needs or not, and also want to know about his reliability, i hope should be well, just because they are from Sanyo, isn't it?

Best regards

Running 11.5R/23T stock 8min race.
But on small concrete tracks, that's why i want to run only with 5 cells to have better handling. And have advantage to be light, there's no limit on weights.

Only thing i want to know most, if these 3600 punch and highend could compare with 4200 or 4600, in the case i saw 3800 are going to be popular in Japan, the guys there like race 23T stock.
Then i have heard some rumours of some guys are trying to find the old Sanyo 3000.
That's the mainpoint of i want to buy 3600HVC.
Give me some opinions sooner, please.

the SHO cell addresses 150A output, I would give it a try because locally they are in discount.

http://www.rceasy.com/2007/07/15/tea...n-rocket-pack/

even a 11.5 can draw up to 100A in a hard acceleration, I have batteries burn out by both 10.5 and 3.5 brushless. amp is never be enough!

heheh, that's funny... Orion marketing their cells as having the ability to discharge at 150 amps. methinks they're trying to market them like lipos.

I have tried:

IB3800 - (early production) my first pack is very good punch almost like my IB4200WC, but burned out a cell in heavy load with 3.5 novak. I change/recharge it more than 50 times before it finally gave up in power but still works. it holds 4200+ charge in its early stages too! (later production) total trash! burned out two cell at once in a 6 cell pack with the second time use and no power at all. I will throw it away!

IB4200WC - very good punch, but faded away just about 2 charges. the internal IR of each cell is extremly un-even. I suspect some of it may explode during heavy load. I already got the matched pack! they already show 100+ cycles with the second time I put them on my digital dischager.

EP3600 - holds less than 3000 charge. very low amp output, no punch at all even with stock motor. but very linear output and last as long as the early IB3800.

RCM (geneious) 3300 Lipo - linear output, not as good punch as IB4200WC. but overall it is fast because the power is very linear! with this lipo and added 84g lead weight, my TRF 415MSX is 1270g fully 4 pointed balanced in scales. Lipo is the way to go! the temp don't change a bit while charging/discharging, feel like it could last forever.

I found orion's SHO(?) 2700 6 cells stick pack for $12.89, but now it's not anymore.

Wow, i think i don't need stick packs, i don't think this could help me.
I just asking and bothering so much just because i want to run 5cells against other people with 6 with 11.5r BL motor. In the case we have to race on slippery concrete(old surface but not polished) on a super small track, so small and tight then happened "traffic jams" with 10 cars together.
Anyway i am very appreciated for yout help, "Zenith", thanks!
I am just asking now for Integy, if they really still have got GP3700schr batteries in their stock.

I think the new one is call GP3900, doesn't it? I read a lot of good comment about GP cells. but I haven't try it yet.

by the way, I tried that lipo on my rs4 mini running a sliver can motor. it kicks up much higher RPM instead of punch. I would say once you try lipo, you never want to go back.
