yeah. anyway, i am looking for some good true pulleys for both my diffs, and for the layshaft. the qualifications are these.

the layshaft is 4mm and I’m looking for plastic here, but not limited to, with the standard 3mm pitch.
- 17 teeth

the diff needs to use 1/8” balls and the same pitch as above.
- 38 teeth

does anyone know who makes these? duratrax makes 18/38, but i question the concentricity. does losi go down to 38t?? who else uses 38t? and what about 17??

any help would be appreciated. i’ve got some 17 rclab pulleys, but they are eccentric and very poor.

anyone?? i'm not opposed to aluminum layshaft pullies either.

Schumacher make a 17 tooth pully, in both plastic and alloy, not sure if it'll fit on a 4mm layshaft tho...

Edit - just measured one and its 4mm so it looks like it should fit.

Shoulda checked those Atlas pullies before you got rid of them...37t on the diff, 16 on the shaft. Not sure about the rest of your qualifcations.

yup, after i thought about it...i remembered that rw makes those nice machined pullies for the schuie 17 and 20. i may have to do that, but it may require my buying two complete pulley kits.

i've already got the atlas 16's fitted on the layshaft!! rclab with a middle one way baby. i always keep it locked though. but they run perfectly true. my 16/37 is quite good, but i got the idea to omit both f/r tensioners by just increasing both pulley sizes. one tooth on each should to it.

i tried a 16/39 (kxone pulley). fits like a champ, but my internal becomes 2.44! i can't find pinions big enough to rollout very high with cut foams.
