that looks sick man!

that means that in the back you've got 35mm rims + 9mm offset?! Amazing body! Can you post a pic from the front, too?

thanks

Is that a 200mm body? Anything else needed other than the wheels and tires to use a 200mm body on a TB03?

I have to push the rear suspension arms as mutch forward as possible.
The front body post are allmost the same just a little bit more narrow on the TB-03.

Can anyone with a TB03 please tell me what 64p pinion and spur to use with an 8.5T LRP motor? I just need to know how many teeth on both, I can't figure out the whole FDR thing. I am a complete onroad newb and am ready to sell my brand new kit without even getting a motor in it.

96 spur with 37 pinion for a 6.32 FDR. This will be safe for the motor. However make sure your ring and pinions are shimmed really good or you WILL strip the gears in the front and rear.

Everything is built to the instructions in the manual.. Is 8.5 too much for this car? I have upgraded the front and rear to aluminum diff, aluminum propellor, diff joint, aluminum spur gear mount, etc..

Ciao Bigbeej,
the problem is with the coupling between the dif and the propeller shaft pinion, if you have on it too much play you will destroy it with any kind of motor, when you are going to assemble it you must first assemble it as per instruction, then check the ammount of play, then if more then 0,20 / 0,25 mm you must add shims until reach the correct play.

Hoping to clear your doubt.

No the gears will handle it if properly shimmed for the motor in question. The shimming in the manual is for the motor that comes with the kit to insure that it's not too tight and gives you the best run time without over heating the stock motor.

The gears that are in the TB03 are the same as the EVO 5. So Mod motors are not problem as long as the gears are shimmed correctly.

Should I shim them for zero play or do you want a tiny bit of movement?

Will this pinion work with the stock 64T 06 module spur gear? Not sure if 0.6m is the same as 06 module.
