I think ozite has the most traction. The dupont stuff seems to shed a lot when new.

I was told Hobbyworld uses Ozite but it sheds 2 inch long fibers.

Fanfare is awsome. This is the stuff they use at the Snowbirds. Contact Carpet Alley in GA. Ask for Lorrie -
800-232-3913 - she will know about the RC fanfare stuff.

We run on fanfare at our local track, if that is the same stuff the Snowbirds uses, and it terrific, traction is very predictable and not one long thread or aything like that, just small fuzz.

The "new" Ozite from Calandra is bar none, the BEST CARPET, I have ever raced on. It's not the same rubber backed stuff we ran on last year at the Indoor Champs, it is completely different. It has great bite from the get-go, doesn't generate a ton of fuzz, and is very consistent.

I have raced on Fanfare and it's pretty decent, but our local track just laid down the new CRC Ozite, and it's slightly superior in every way.
