I can`t find the 1st TB Evo 5 Thread.
-Did it turn to this thread?(Evo 5 MS)

I don`t have a Evo 5 MS.....yet. I still want to talk about the Evo 5(even though it`s Discontinued).

Can someone tell me where the Evo 5 Thread is?

Thanks

Take Care

It would be nice if we could merge these 2 threads just like the TRF 416 / 416 WE thread.

Anyone have any tips for eliminating the issue with the steering link rubbing on the driveshaft. I've stacked shims under the ballstud for extra clearance and it clears at full left to right lock. For some reason while on the track its rubbing...grinding away at the center shaft.

Do you have a picture of it? Never had an issue with that (running spool or one way).

Just curious, is your chassis a TB-03? I do know that his happen to this chassis, while totally not aware of this issue on a Evo 5 / MS.

Cheers!!

Evo IV MS. I reduced the throw via the Radio EPA feature to eliminate the conflict but as a result I'm just not getting the steering throw(range of motion) I'm looking for.

Was wondering if anyone could give me a tamiya part number for the next firmer spring compared to the white spring with yellow paint suppllied in the kit. Thank you, Keith.

Keith,
This what you need: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXWB01&P=SM
These are the standard length Spring.

The Short Tuned Springs are sold separately in pairs: White, Blue, Red and Yellow.

I thought this would be the way to go also and bought it only to find all the springs were softer than the white ones with the yellow paint on the ends that came in the kit to build the car. Looked at the Super Hard Tamiya Hop Up springs but they were way too stiff. Maybe the Hop Up Hard springs?

Keith.
