Default newby question

Hey guys, thinking about getting into on-road. Any suggestions on a good on-road Losi, Associated? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Either the Losi Type-R or Associated TC5 would be good cars to start with. I would choose the TC5 since the parts are more available than Losi, and the car is fairly tough.

Do not get the Associated TC4 or Losi JRXS cars, neither are current race platforms, and others newer cars are much better choices.

I'm a huge fan of my TC3. You can buy a cheap kit i'm sure for under $100 and go to this site http://www.diggitydesigns.com/XLR8_DD.html and get the carbon fiber frame for $125. Big AE fan!!

I would recommend xray but it depends on your budget. Most cars these days are all pretty much the same you would be suprised a serpant S4000 is just an xray T1FK04 with the sepant badge on instead of xray. Also see what you local hobby shop stocks that way parts wont be such a big problem.

the serpent parts fit the xray as if they were xray parts. most of the belt cars are the same and well look pretty much the same. the top scythe being another example where its made form 5 different cars.
