Default Good sensored brushelss combo?

I know this is opening a can of worms of user preference but I need some help.
I was running a Castle sidewinder system in my TA05-R. This weekends race resulted in my esc coming out of the car and destroying the esc.
Unfortunately that leaves me to start shopping. Was thinking of going sensorless. More control and better throttle feel.
Question is, which one??
I want to get something that includes a motor since my castle sensorless motor is now useless if I go sensored. I want a built in lipo cutoff and something that is somewhat affordable while still remaining high quality. May look for used to keep prices more down to earth.
So far I am looking at the Novak GTB combo, it is pricey though. Looks like good stuff. Also, what would be a good motor spec for outside asphalt racing? 10.5?
Thanks in advance for any info.

i may be wrong but i was under the impression that sensored ESCs can still run sensorless motors.

Other wise look at the new losi combos seems like a really good price to me

New Losi unit's are great. Also great results from all testing. Best bang for the $$ for any level of racing.....

Team Orion 10.5 and LRP Sphere TC Spec. LRP is much easier to setup, than the GTB.

I would go with a speedpassion speed controller, it can run both sensored and sensorless! It also comes with a handheld programming box which makes tuning a lot easier. For motors all the fastest guys seem to be using speedpassion also

Save yourself a lot of frustration by going with a system by LRP, Nosram, or Novak. These are competition tested systems with many motor choices, great adjustability, factory tuning advice, and good customer service.
