I seriously doubt that you will be at the sedan challenge, a lot of us have been waiting for you to show up, like every weekend you say your going to come. dont you think you should get some club races under your belt before you jump in to all these big races you make "plans" to go to?

Dale,

I have read your writings with interest.

Would it be practical and would there be advantages at this scale 1/10, 1/8 to fabricate a real wing using conventional layering of carbon fibre with resin, compared to the current 'deflectors' in use?

Also, do you have front | rear downforce figures for your bodies? I believe this would be useful information for all users when choosing bodies as a tuning option.

question on this body. I see that there is a cut line at the bottom of the body that is marked gbs. I am assuming that this is the but line to meet gbs. But I did not find anything in the roar that says anything about this. what part of the spec determins that lower cut line on the side of the body. I see the on for the rear and also for the total height.

Also, the front wheel markings are a little far forward on this body. Have you guys been able to mount your chassis forward in the body enough to us the wheel marks as a guide?

Just a little info on the foam spec body. I ran one two days ago on my XRay T2 '007 rubber sedan, and it seems to handle every bit as well as my Mazdaspeed 6 shell. So if the foam body does that well the rubber spec one ought to be outstanding!

Please do not quote me, or cut you body on the basis of this
I think it would be related to roof height from track surface.

I would guess if you set your car at minimum ride height, then that line will give you a legal roof height. Again, a guess, I haven't held one of these bodies yet.

115mm minimum roof height - 5mm ride height = 110mm. I guess there is a fraction over 110mm between the roof and the GBS line.

Yep, count me in on wanting to see some spy shots

Although, I guess you could say that its going to look the same but with subtle differences in the wheel arches to allow for clearance of the rubber tyres?

Kevin, you might be interested in this site:

Go to the Aerodynamics section. More info than you could possibly want. The short answer is that realistic style wings don't work in R/C because air doesn't scale. You scale down your car, but the air effects don't scale down with it. R/C cars are too small and go too fast, and air can't oscillate quickly enough to work effectively on such a tiny wing.
