If I went the other way and tried to put a Chevron body on a 201 would it look dorky?

I could be wrong but I for one do not think it will fit but you can spend the money and try it and if it dose not work out someone will buy the body from you.

If I liked a shell enough I would buy a 103 to stick under it. But thats just how I am. Plus 103's really dont cost anything. I have paid more for for a battery.

Marty,

Don't forget about the good old me. We have a new huge carpet track here in my area approximate size is 110x60 ft. I would really want to try F1 cars on carpet so let me know what we can work out. Few years ago F1 class was pretty big till my friend closed down his track.

Yes you can make a F201 Body fit the F103.

I use the F201 front wing and cut the last mounting hole back so it will fit in the F103 I do not use the top cove or I cut the wing mounts down to let the body drop down.
Man we have to do something about those decals !!!!!!!!!!

big Al you like them there decals I know but it was all I have they are just sets I had used some on other cars. and they were what was left over

Thanks Chad I can't wait till the race takes place to see how it works out.
Still wish I could be there for the Builders cup.

Any time T Makkinen glad to help.

Jochim_18 I have not forgot these cars are for a big race down south.

I need to get cars to big AL - RURC Mike - you and Me so I can run it around here or till I find someone to run it around here.

New pics later today Chad

See MX's Car is our entry Level racer, The Viper is our Pro Racer , and this New car is our hi tech car I guess I would call it.

Snoop your F201 Chassis will go out with this next package ok 1 3x3 and 1 side by side Chassis New Spur mount motor mount and spur gear adapter so you can run 48p or 64p gears and with our spur mount you can even run a bigger gear over the stock Tamiya or 3 racing stuff.

I got a chance to witness the new MLP F1 car yesterday. This thing is on par with the best the industry has to offer. Hyperdrive, Corally, Associated This car is toe to toe with any of them in fit and finish. The tolerances of the cuts and the way the car is put together is second to none.

The Tamiya F103 front suspension looks desperately out of place on the car. Like a Mustang front suspension on a Ferrari. Thats not to say that theres anything wrong with the Tamiya parts. Its just that the quality of the MLP components is that much higher.

Well yesterday is the first time I ever paid a racing fee and never set a car on the track. I guess thats the way life goes.
