Default New KO 2.4 Radio

Has anyone had the chance to try this radio? Thoughts? Differences between existing crystal system in terms of response time. Feel, ect.?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that its not available yet. KO guy at TITC said it would be out around May time, so should be out shortly.
I know Masami, Andy Moore, Chris Grainger amongst others used it at TITC and from speaking to them, they found no difference in feel between normal crystalled receivers and 2.4. Seems KO have got it right, I would imagine 90% of people running KO will be using 2.4 at the worlds this November. I know I will if its available.

It's in the states...already got mine this past Monday. Just call up KO America.

Just like the other post said...works perfectly. The receiver is small too.

I saw the receiver in person and couldn't believe how small it was!
I'm trying to decide between the 2.4GHz Helios and the 2.4GHz EX-1UR. I see that the new 2.4GHz Helios is available now in the USA.

I know the EX-1UR will be a little cheaper, but I'm less concerned with the price and more concerned with getting the right radio for me. KO PROPO STAFF mentioned that both are flagship radios in another thread. Anyone have any input?

If you have small hands the EX1 is great. If you have big hands, the Helios will be a buch better fit.

what Fred said. the EX-1UR is very compact. while the helios is bigger it also has a jog dial to access the menus quicker.
