A new car stand wont make me or my car any faster, I have a 6 year old piece of foam that my car sits on, and it works.... Call me blunt, but it does what it needs to.

I made my own out of 2 lengths of aluminium "L" some MDF (wood), computer fans.

At the time my pit table was REALLY small so I had to utilise every square inch of the table so I could have some space.

My TC sits on this all day with the fan cooling the motor, my power supply sits underneath and my charger sits ontop. The battery being charged sits on the mesh with the fan drawing air over not blowing on.

Cheers

For some folks, this hobby's all about gadgets and tools, so I don't think this thread's weird at all.

Thanks for that info Nexus. You're probably right on the turnaround, so I'm glad that option wasn't available when I ordered mine.

I made my own out of three bits of timber and does what its suppose to do. It cost me almost next to nothing to build also its very sturdy. It doesnt make my car any faster or better but I dont see how a fancy looking one is going to win you races so why not make one it probly would save you alot of money.
