Default Pana SMH after long storage??

I have 2 packs of matched Panasonic SMH batts and was wondering how should start charging it back....it has been in storage for more than 6mths....bummer i just found it in the storeroom..LOL...it was discharge to 5.4v prior to staorage and had never been touched till now

charge it to 50% full and then discharge it....let it cool and charge to maximum. your cells tend to "sleep" after a long period of inactivity, so you need to "wake" it up by charging it to half and then discharge it...

we had those matched smh and we just charged them normally at 4amps and used them with mod motors, (so that they'd discharged at 30 amps...)
