Default Big Race T-Shirts

Just doing some spring cleaning today, and realized that I an enormus amount of race T-shirts that I will, at no point, wear in public.

When you go to a big race, is there something else that would be a better give away than a t-shirt? Or is this something people enjoy getting for memory sake?

I wear my big race T-shirts to the track so I don't get my good ones for school dirty. Also I wear my ex-sponsor ones to school because nobody is going to ask about it.

I don't know about other people, but they're certainly not something I would ever wear in public. I think a little plaque for your toolbox and/or a custom sticker sheet would be a much better to hand out at big races. Less hideous t-shirts might be another idea... The t-shirts for the USVTA race weren't bad, at least something I would wear to shoot some hoops or work in the yard.

I like race T shirts. I wear them like any other t shirt. Plus when someone asks about the shirt. I can share about the hobby and direct them to a LHS, in hopes of some day they would be interested in racing.

I have no doubts about supporting my sponsors or this hobby of ours anywhere/time, but if the clothing was extreme i'd have second thoughts about wearing it anywhere outside a race track.

I always wear my track shirts in public...that way people know how awesome of a R/C racer I am..

If you were to sell them I bet people would buy them.

I personally have race T shirts going back...forever. I do wear them occationally at big races (practice days) and sometimes for local races...especially just before laundry day. They are also great for working in the garage, doing yard work, and cleaning up spills.

As for something better, the 2006 1/10th Onroad Nats and Carpet Nats both gave out pit towels (great handout, something usefull!) and the 2007 Onroad Nats gave out pitboards (another great handout).
