The "M" has silver anodizing on it so it's not bare aluminum. But if you take the blue off to bare aluminum, you can polish it to make it really shine! I was thinking, how about getting it black anodized?

...to me, it looks bad. Looks like TAMIYA are trying to copy other models like HPI(purple), Express(red), YOKOMO(blue), etc... I think TAMIYA should have stayed with the silver just like when they started in the begining from the first 4...'s. Remember that's just my opinion so no bashing!

To me, I would like to see Tamiya get a RED edition 414M. One Red and one Blue... and now you can see the tamiya logo~... Hey wait, maybe a all white derlin edition??? lol... NOw you can REALLY see the LOGO... lol~
But seriously though, if they do have all those color out. I would buy them all. Tamiya is just my faviorite.

They should make it Kose blue instead of YOKOMO blue. I know they had colors in the past and the hop ups are in colors.
I still have my Grasshopper, grasshopperII, Hornet, SuperChamp, Blackfoot, BlackfootII, Toyota Hilux, and Mountaineer. Pretty colorful hop ups, but I still like silver the best.
