What is the internal transmission ratio. I haven't found it yet, and I need to get a gearing chart around for the car.
Also, does anyone know how to gear a tamiya dyna-run motor? I think it's a 13T, but I'm not really sure.

Default Spool & EVO3 suspension blocks

Hi, I'll be trying out an old 414WC shortly. I've got two questions though..

1) Will the 415 spool fit?
2) Which EVO3 suspension blocks are suitable? There seem to be 4 different widths available..

there is no spool available for that car and the one from the TRF415 will not fit.

The toe blocks are all suitable, it all depends on the setup you want to use.

A corresponds to what's used all around aopart from the block that is completely at the back of the car. There, A will give 0deg inboard toe (the car has 2deg outboard toe), B will give 0.5deg, C 1deg, D 1.5deg. We usually used the max amount of toe on that car.

You can build a spool for the 4X4 series using the the gear diff from the TA04 and getting the locking axle option from the Pajero kit. It is a brass spline that fits over both outdrives and locks the axle. You void the internal gears form the gear diff and maily just use the housing. I do not have the pt numbers for what to order though sorry.

Post TA-05 Tamiya Spool retro fit for TRF414M

Would the TA-05 Tamiya spool fit the TRF414M? The reason I asked, it still run my 414M kit for club racing & I like the way the spool handles on my TRF415. No after market RC company made one when the 414M was in it's prime years ago. I tried installing the Tamiya spool for the TB EVO4 & it was a direct fit between the bulkheads but the center hole of the diff pulley was too small to fit over the diff housing (the hole on the diff gear for the EVO4 is bigger in diameter). Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
