Hey Mike,

Drop F1 and offer a Tamiya Mini Cooper class. I guarntee you would get 100 entries in that alone! Tamiya would even be a major sponsor as well I am sure.

DAVE DAVE DAVE my eye's hurt on that one WOW!!!!

Nothing is set yet on schedule. The biggest challenge for us is the crew and how that will be working out in shifts... other than that most are up 24 hours anyway.

I have a meeting with the Radisson next week and we should have the dotted line signed. Then I will be able to announce to start your engines and get booked at the hotel (as they will be working on the FREE upgrade for a few weeks for early 'birds).

I love the new pan cars for road. Hoping to have that added. The Tamiya class is an awesome idea. I love their cars and concepts. Thanks for the ideas.

Saturday BUMP'N'RUN day this year is going to be the best day of racing - with food, fun, girls, music and more planned. Watching the Ray Wood video reminds what an awesome day Saturday is, with 1 heat and the B-main bumps. More to come of course on this. But I am already excited thinking about it!!!

In case you have not been there in awhile... the Snowbird Race website has a ton of pictures and links from 2008's race. Enjoy!!!

And for fun - check out the race web from 2001-2002. Boy how time flies!!

What do you mean farewell tour?????????? Say it ain't so Nash, you can't be hanging up the transmitter. must have been that retina injury from the carpet nats, or did the Jack fumes from the IIC impair your judgment? If this is in fact and truly the Nash Racer Farewell Tour ..... then I must say my friend you will be missed.

Here is some cool classic stuff.... back in the early days of the 'birds (1999):
http://www.snowbirdnationals.com/99comp.htm

Joel Johnson, Dieter, and Cyrul all pictured.

Also had some emails about the Outlaw class again for 2009. I think some racers like 10.5 as it's a bit faster than 13.5. Thoughts? Thanks!

Also the new pan road class is cool. We are going to run it here locally (and it helps BMI is based here). Got a crazy idea of 'spec' body like Corvettes maybe...

Ruben, Nash says that now and granted he does need to get him a woman, but I'd say he'll be going to just a few races instead of our CRAZY schedule the past couple of years... I'm trying to get him to just pick like cleveland and one other race like the birds to go to each year...
