Thanks for the info.
Greens are going to work best on carpet. In theory!

You're probably right. If you think about it the RP30 was good on asphalt and carpet.

I dont think you are cause guys were saying the old blues were good on carpet and were faster and had a better life cycle.

The blues work well on carpet. I am waiting for a few more test results before we decide, but even if greens are a little faster, blues are easier to obtain on a consistent basis. This reason alone makes them very appealing as a spec tire. I will be discussing this with Scotty soon.

Supply on tires is now reaching the point where you should start seeing them in shops on a more consistent basis. We have good stock and all we need to do is keep up with the mounting (uuugghhhh).

Interesting, my Crew and I clean ours with simple green (sometimes alcohol) and then apply the JACK. Amazing grip considering the Tarmac here averages 130+ degrees while racing. I will try the WD-40..

A few of us were trying the blues on a track that was 110 (sealed asphalt, ambient temp ~75, treated with VHT) and they werent working well for us. We could have used a softer compound I think. The cars kept wanting to break loose on us. We all went back to tires that we had used previously. They were slightly better but still a little loose (just not as much). So I think it was partially the track too. Going to try again next Saturday when it should be warmer and hopefully the track will go back to its typical self. Tires did wear well and hold up great. As well as look great!

It may have been. The sprayer has been acting funky. Perhaps it didnt mix well this week. The VHT is usually very tacky and it never got that way this week. Perhaps b/c it wasnt sunny so it didnt evaporate.

Just gotta try it again next week.
