18 Gauge - 1 1/2 inch will do the job perfect. Laws vary by state but in Florida you can go to any pharmacy and pick them up without an Rx.

And no, I won't tell you how I know that.

Thumbs down

its a shame the 'public' can't share the rubber tire experience

I'm going to recommend to the area racers to throw away thier rubber tires and go back to foams till rubber tires are plentiful

I can't wait to get a hold of a couple of these. I tried the old Jaco rubbers out here on asphalt. Lets just say they were a bit less than stellar on asphalt. But if these tires work well, it'll solve a lot of issues out here. People are desperate to find a tire that works at least decent and will be available for some time to come.

Oh geez... I'm going to defend Jack. God help us...

They're still testing different tire compounds from different sources. Please be patient, and allow them to do thorough testing so they can get this right. I know the tire situation is crappy right now, but you can still find Sorex with a little searching. The last thing we need is for a sub-standard tire to be rushed to market.

What I really want to know, is, what happened to those great tires Schumacher USA was supposed to start selling?

Stormer is listing the tires at $28.95 right now. If that holds, it's a VERY attractive price.

As long as they aren't a true one run tire. If they work well, have any kind of life, and are under $30 a set mounted, they'll take over as the new tire.

No crack involved, the jaco tire works well when cleaned well. Being a rookie lets me try stupid stuff, but the tire change was probably the best and easiest. Blue needs higher temp to grip from my jacked set up, but green bit right away. It did fade away but still kept me within top 5 run(probably set up). I will go thru my box of tires to find jaco's first!!!

I posted that question a few times but they never really answered... Me thinks they were not as great as they thought but at least they tried.

I tested those tires out, and they were pretty good, I do know that Schumacher USA may be able to get CS-27's again, so not sure if they will be carrying a few lines... or just one...

Jack, Thanks for the new tires and rims. We ran them at K-Raceway for the first time last weekend and I was very happy with them. Lynn and I both ran blues for one round and the next 3 rounds were with 1 set each of the new ones. No problems these tires were awsome. THANKS AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!

When I was teching the new tires I did see some great glueing work and then some that made me laugh. PW's tires were perfect !!!!!!!!! If I ever have to glue them again I'd pay Paul to do it !!!!!!!!!!

Marcos did the wheels hold up when you slammed into my size 13 sneaker as I was setting the grid on the back straight ??? I know your cvd's took one hell of a beating.
