^ this is why people are having trouble getting the tires. People are buying them all up when they find them.If people just bought a couple sets to get them through the next week or two then more people could have them now.

I will be switching to a different brand when I run out of the old Jacos. I have 2 sets of rubber and foams left.

I'm only a club racer and I have a set...guess it can't be true as you have the facts, right

Hate to burst your bubble but if you have a set your lucky, hardly anyone else [local club racer] can attain them, unless your from Fla. which I believe Jack himself is hand gluing those,

A good product, but to unforseen circumstances, they are almost impossible for the Local Hobby Shops to get.

MAD916 is a track owner, so you can now see the trouble that he goes thru just to find some.

This tire hoarding thing really sucks.

Anyway, I, the club racer got my hands on a couple of sets of blues (from Speedtech) before someone had a chance to snatch them. I only got to run them a little while last night before it got too cool, but the wear was really nice, and all the other great things people are saying were true. I did add a little more camber, as I noticed the outside edges were wearing a little bit. That seemed to fix the problem.

Here in Denver, even in the middle of July, we need greens after about 6PM. We're racing at night, and it cools off dramatically when the sun goes down. I imagine the focus is on blues, since they're being used on carpet, and it's, you know, hot most places during the summer, but some greens would help us around here quite a bit.

From what I have seen here at my facility, I would have to agree on the quality and consistency. Although, I have yet to run them personally, or recieve any for our local drivers/racers from our backorders at numerous suppliers that keep getting pushed back on delivery dates. The top drivers in this area are getting them from where ever and their lap times are consistent with what they are running on RP 30's.

Blue you should calm down before you look like an idiot. Just because you put them on backorder doesn't mean that other shops aren't ahead of the places you ordered them from. Obviously stormer and speedtech got an order so shops are starting to see them, jack said he had all the parts they just can't glue them fast enough.

People want locals to support their tracks, and constantly complain about losing customers, but you can only find tires online. If tire suppliers thought about these things, it would be alot different. How hard is it to glue tires? Seriously. Whatever the reason maybe, over promising and not delivering will piss people off.

ARG... I just sent a complaint email to stormer. Usually they are excellent with backorders and such... i've had a backorder on blues for 75 days, and they didnt fill my order. If they posted stock to the website for the public before filling outstanding backorders, that blows.

I believe Stormer only holds back orders for 60 days. I know its either 60 or 90 days.. so if its 90 then you got rolled but if it is 60 they did nothing wrong

Well the backorder is more then 60 days old, but it still shows as an active unfilled order in my stormer account. So I'm finding it hard to understand while they went online with stock, while i have an open backorder live in the system. Doesn't sound like i'm the only one that had a backorder not filled either.

The only reason we snagged them in a qty is that there are 4 of us off to Vegas in a month and we have not been able to get the spec tire we will be running. No hording, just 4 guys trying to get our cars dialed in.....
