Jeezz...if Jaco would have released the New Prizm a month ago and found out the current compounds didnt work as well with the new wheel all you guys would be on here bitching like hell about how they were Junk.

It takes time to bring a completely new product like this to market. With the design of the wheel and different flex properties new compounds must be tested to verify that they are releasing the best available. The new ones are in production now and those that choose to wait will be rewarded with an awesome tire and wheel!

Questions?? WHEN CAN WE GET SOME?????

Is there a revised ETA on when the Prisms will hit distributors / hobby shops? We are having a very had time getting any tires at our local track, and it is really beginning to hurt attendence & interest in TC With BL & Lipo taking off, it's a shame that tires are now the issue.......

I'm doing more practicing than racing these days, and the "choice" has been to try using whatever brand of premounts I can find in the right compounds. This has been an adventure in FAIL! There's some really crappy tires out there. And some decent ones. The Sweep Advantage tires seemed pretty okay, and held up fairly well for hard practice. Unfortunately, those too have become nearly impossible to find.

Of course, everybody seems to love the "SpeedRex" tires, and I can't make my car turn at all with them, so what do I know...

Bring on the Jacos!

all I hear is "HYPE" like a lot of other Vendors who shall remain unnamed, defend all you want, when you release information of a new & improved product have it ready for the public, quit dragging it out, get it rite then advertise it

this is part of the problem with the RC industry, the new & improved 'widget' will be available to the public 'soon', then by the time it is available to the public, another 'new & improved widget' is advertised

yeah get it right, but PLEASE don't advertise it till I can sell it to my customers, when you work behind the counter in this industry and see & hear the disappointment in your customers when the 'new & improved widget' won't be here for ANOTHER 2 or weeks, it gets "NASTY"

ps EA you a 'factory' driver for JACO? it seems that is the only racers able to get these tires??

Sweet Jeebus.

Did Jack start this thread? Was he the one that started "advertising" a product that wasn't out yet? The only thing that we've got from Jaco on this thread is updates on the development. He told us earlier that the machine to glue the tires wasn't even ready yet and that he might have to have the factory glue them this time. Don't you think that it takes some time to do that? So, he'll be about a week late on when he told us he was going to get the rubber. Let's just throw him under the bus because he's trying to get it right. Nice.

Pretty much everyone that I know that races has a set of tires that they can run if they need to. Might not be the best but they'll work. It's just fricking toy cars guys.

With the attidude of so many of the racers, it's a wonder that there are any manufacturers willing to deal with us at all. The best part is that if anyone decides to defend the manufacturers they get blasted because they must "run for them" or have some sort of hidden agenda. Please.

Typical internet message board. Complain just to hear yourself complain. It's all Jaco's fault that you can't race. It's all his fault that you don't have the latest and greatest tire so that you can run a club race. Blame blame blame. Complain complain complain.

I'll buy Jaco's just to support them for putting up with us.

That's really not fair, there is a shortage of GOOD tires this year, I want to know what manufactures are actually working on the problem. This a new market for them they deserver some leeway and some credit for taking on the drive to fix the problem.

Im looking forward to the new Jaco tires but to defend Speedy a bit...

Jaco is currently advertising the new tires on their site and they arent available (but sounds like they will be very soon - hopefully!)

Speedy is a LHS owner. He hears people b!tch to him all day long Im sure. Part of his frustration I would guess is that he takes a lot of the grief over products being advertised but not available for a long time (See Tekin, LRP, others).

Not taking sides but needed to defend my boy Speedy a bit!

Cant wait for the new tires myself! Sound like they are exactly what is needed right now.

And why not call Jaco and actually talk to him about it?

No, just complain on the internet because that's going to solve it. Please.
