DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT NOSRAM... NOVAK GTB IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT, I RUN A SPEED PASSION GT AND I LOVE IT! IT HAS A BURST OF 600A COMPARED TO NOVAKS 400A. LOADS OF PUNCH OFF THE LINE.

ALSO THE SPEED PASSION GT HAS A HAND HELD PROGRAMMER AND IT WORKS GREAT. YOU CAN ALSO CHANGE YOU TIMING ON THE ESC AND STILL RUN A SENSOR WIRE. THIS GIVES YOU INCREASED RPM'S WHILE STILL HAVING SMOOTH THROTTLE RESPONSE USING THE SENSOR WIRE.

Novak with out a doubt. Get a real brand name. A quality exc will make all of the differnce in the world. Its worth spending more money on good equipement now because it will last you a long time. I have had quality esc's for several years and they have been in several different cars.
Whats wrong with nosram?

Its just a red LRP LOL

What I should have said was to buy a brand that is actually the brand.

The techinical bable.

Just as an example if company x produces its own product that is of high quality, and company y asks that company to produce a similar product for them, 9 times out of 10, company x will not make company y a better product than what they are selling for them selves.

In other words if they are made by LRP for someone else, there is a great chance that all it is - is an low end LRP.

Thats why I said stick with Novak.

LRP is great but I was referring to the origional question.

So if its not as good, why do Hara and Moore run them? I have always wondered why lol

Nosram is owned by LRP.

http://www.nosram.com/company.asp

Same product, red label. I wonder if they come with "red is better" decals?

I spoke to someone who knows the product better than I do. They are the same esc, Sorry about that.

I guess it wouldnt matter which one you were able to buy, as long as it has the features that you are looking for.

Anyone here of a company called Team Orion and what about Peak Performance? They sell mirrored products in that they are exactly the same, just marketed under a different name.Same company.Branding and brand loyalty has something to do with it.Same with Lrp and Nosram. Not that hard of a concept to figure out.

If you can readily get a nosram, then you won't be diappointed. They are quality speedcontrols that rival any of the high end speedos out there including the GTB.
