Novak Millenium(not pro) any good?

I bought a Novak Millenium Charger (not pro) on ebay yesterday almost brand new for 65 bucks. Is this a good charger? I was gonna get a Super Brain 959 instead.

Trust me, you'll be VERY happy with it. I still have mine(also a non-Pro version 1.20), & it's the best charger I've ever had. I haven't even felt much need to buy a Pro just yet(though if I had the spare cash I wouldn't mind getting one).....

only two options i wish they had

1) battery cycle or at least a discharge
2) motor run so i dont have to charge my 4 cell to cut my motor.

if it had these two options these chargers would be even better.

i have a millenium pro and im guessing its similar

there are 2 types of charge

ni-cd linear
ni-cd rev pulse <-something like that

correct me if im wrong

use ni-cd linear

for the millenium pro you have to use that setting for a performance charge
works the same. i wonder why they dont tell you that in the manual

The non-pro Millenium is a great charger. To charge GP's just use linear charge and set the voltage threshold to 4mv (its the lowest) and you will be fine.

If im not mistaken, it has the built in fan right? Does it work good? Also it has the backlit LCD right? Thats important because my LHS races in their parking lot at night so we don't have a lot of light. Thanks guys!!

I think it has an internal fan(but it's so quiet I can't hear it). Either way, the Millenium definitely runs VERY cool, I've never felt it heat up at all. And yes, it does have a backlit LCD, so you should be able to read it ok in dim light, & it has a small angle adjustment to set the display to stay in your line of sight.....
