It's definately onroad. Maybe there trying to make 1/18th TC 4wd carpet more popular for the winter months.

A 1/12th 4wd would be nice but it really dosn't look like it from the pics. I dosn't look like an F1 because you'd only need one body post up front and it looks like there are two. It is also not smaller then 1/18th IMO because it's too complex and it's not bigger because of the lack of tuning options out of the box, camber/caster/toe options. I reckon it's a 1/18th 4wd TC. Personally that's not my cup of tea but it would make sense if they sell it cheap and give it unlimited hop-up ability so you can customize it how you want, just like hpi did with the micro. Plus if they made the bodies and wheels compatable with the micro, people with a micro would get one as well because they can just change there electronics/tyres and bodies over to the Xray. If they put an easily adjustable wheelbase (like the T1) on it then it would let people run different wheelbase bodies with out disassemble of the car(which is required with the micro).

Just guessing.

You guys are all wrong! Do you really want to know what the new vehicle is?

I have been waiting for this for years.....

OK, ready...it's a Hybrid nitro/Solar powered car with a complex yet simple to adjust chassis that will adapt to any wheelbase TC. If you buy the MT option kit you can also run it in the Ulimited T-Maxx class.

Just kidding guys

SO.. that is a 1/18 4WD Micro!

I think this is the fastest growing thread ever! I don't think that they would make a 1/18 micro. It's not a class thats very competitive most places. But it think it could possibly be a 1/12 TC?? Doesn't really looks like it though .

I just cant see xray going into scales below 1/12th. Lets face it no real competition and xray is all about competion cars.
However they could make some real coin on these dumb a$$ Micro cars look at Hpi has prob made a mint!

But Xray specializes in onroad racing...so it must be an "Amphibious Nitro V-Hull Boat"

Seriously...me thinks it's a micro. Micros are kinda funny...cool to drive but can get ludicrously expensinve. How many 500-1000 dollar micros are floating around hehe.
Well I said that before I saw pics...and it was also to be a humerous statement

OK heres what the web sight said I have to draw your attention to the fact they are saying somthing different than touring cars so 1/10, 1/12, and 1/18 scale t/c should be ruled out as to what they are proclaiming at this time

After a closer look.... definately a mini/micro of some kind.. a car to compete with HPI's micros... or 1/12 like YOK's MR4's...

My money's on something micro sized - perhaps 1/19th so it's different to the HPI and therefore "like nothing else"? Perhaps a Micro F1 with the V shaped wishbones.

I don't know what to think of this. It looks like a micro. What I don't get, whatever the thing will be, is what will be so "avant-garde" about it. Do they mean that it will be revolutionnary or just something new for X-RAY. I don't think any R/C company wil be coming out with anything so revolutionnary that it'll blow everybody's mind so I guess it's just something that X-RAY hasn't done before. Unless they are working on the concept of a 4WD vehical with no belts or shaft, like four mini coreless motors at each corner with traction control and the chassis is actually a 5000 mah battery

I'm gonna guess it will be a shaft-driven 18th scale.
