There is no issue on our end. 208 should work identical to 203 if it's setup the same way. Granted there is a smoother feel but laptimes should be the same if not better.

The issue why everyone wants to get 203 back in my opinion is they're not taking enough time to work on their 208 setup.

If anyone needs 203, I'll send it. But my suggestion is to take a track day(when possible) and work on the settings.

I'm finding it hard to understand why people are having problems with 208. I loaded it and it was immediately better than 203.

I'm wondering whether it is particular motors that are causing problems. Could everyone who has a problem with 208 list the motor they are using, and does anyone have a problem while using a Tekin motor?

I wish 208 could start the low end rpm as low as 203 did. That was very helpful and I have seen many people start at the 1700 range when we ran the 203 software.

I'm using an LRP X12 10.5t (0 timing setting), FDR 7.6

203 brakes are good (typically i am running 65-75% on my radio)

208 has a 0.5 - 1s delay on braking, the car just won't stop when braking from high speeds, i have to brake at least 10-12 feet earlier for a corner, very weird i know.

change back to 203 and everything is great again.

sensored mode
BL-FW
drag brake 0
brake strength 100

203
boost 40
start 9xxx
end 30000
turbo 15
delay 0.3
ramp 1

208
timing 0
then same as above

depends on the motor winds.or you can take the kv rating x 7.4 volts will give you what the rpms it can turn before timing is added

Default Gearing

Help... going to run the stock class at the IIC... 17.5 with the no advance in the ESC rule.
What the heck is a good ball park FDR? oh probably a Duo 2 motor.. and since we can add timing in the motor is that the way to go or not?
Man, so used to boost and turbo this is gonna be sooo different

Brakes are better in 208 than 203. If this is "your" issue something else is going on and should be figured out.

With the new "spec" class yes motor timing is back as the new adjustment. This coupled with gearing is all you get.

If you need boost before 2k that is what motor timing is for.
