Do the new esc's have the profile to allow to run stock with no timing advance? Though i saw that that profile had to be loaded by the factory, Is this correct or can we down load the profile?

The 208 RS software has the no timing advance profile built in. You just need to select profile 1 and you have it.

Hi guys, i'm after a little more punch/rip out of the corners. I'm running on a small technical carpet track using an Xray 009 with the 38t pulleys, Novak ballistic 13.5t and an fdr of 7.42. On the straight i can hold my own with the Speed passion users but infield i'm left behind. I'm running an RS with v203 using the following settings.
DB 40
RS 100
BS 100
NW 10
MT BL-FW
TP 5
VC 2
PC OFF
TIMING BOOST 50
TURBO BOOst MAX
TURBO DELAY 0.1
TURBO RAMP 1.0
START RPM 2548
END RPM 8004
SENSORED TICKED
The endbell timing is set right back to the - sign.
Any pointers appreciated.

The endbell timing is set right back to the - sign. - Try some negative timing also. Novak has 30 degrees of timming stock.
Any pointers appreciated.
Hope that helps.

I would turn the motor timing back to the standard setting or N. Also set boost to max and reduce the turbo.set start rpm 5000 and end rpm 15000. turbo ramp 2. You could try zero turbo delay but see how it goes. I have run a 13.5 ballistic with the rs and it was rapid

You should not be running 3.0 ramp rate on a track this short. Your end rpm is too low and this is causing your setup to bog down. On top of that your delay should not be this low with a start rpm as low as you have it set.

If you're going to run a delay in the 0 to .2 range your start rpm should be up around 5k. Understand that coming into the tightest 180 turn the rpms are still in the 3k range give or take. So running it lower than that serves no purpose.

I'd try a start around 5k, end around 15k , .1 delay , 10 turbo, 45 boost and find your gearing FIRST! This needs to be geared for the infield mostly. Then if you want to creep torwards max you can. Funny thing is that I've NEVER found a reason to run MAX anything and I still can lay the smack down in my stock classes.

If your gearing is right NO amount of esc tuning will help you.
