up to 5000 or above
I would start at 9000 and end at 15000

What causes the issue of the transmitter not being able to bind with the esc, even though it worked fine for weeks at a time? I've had this happen with both TC and 1/12 scale using different esc's and a JR radio, and there have been others at our track with similar problems with other brands of radios.
Only fix seems to be to unload version 203 and re install and start from scratch or to pick a new unused model in the radio.

I just put a new RS in my car and when I tried to calibrate it to my radio after it found neutral it can not find full throttle. The radio is an M8 and everything is set right on it. I tried it on normal and reverse, it still does nothing after finding neutral. Anyone have any idea what I can do to get it to work?
Thanks,Greg

G the menace- if you havent tried it yet i would try setting the EPA's to different values above 100% and also try below 100%. usually there is a limit to how much travel an ESC will calibrate too. make sure that your ARC or EXPO is set to linear or zero or whatever middle is supposed to be ( i think its 0% EXPO on the M8) before trying different endpoints.

I had the same issue dude when my radio was set to 100%, I banged it up to 140% calibrated with rs pro no problem and then I bumped the hpoint up to 150% for good measure and it also fixed my turbo fade, my car's a consistent rocket

An alternative method I use to get my turbo consistent is using the "throttle travel" instead of EPA. This is with my DX3R.
I set my throttle travel to 90% to calibrate the radio, then bump it up to 100%. I find it more consistent than using EPA. Again, this is with my DX3R.
Assuming you have your settings and gearing correct, this should work.

Can a 5.0 pulse be run on the tekin rs with single cell or will I need to use an RS Pro.
WHAT would be some good setting for a track with a 60 ft stright.

on single cell should fine,i believe the motor limit was tested on a 2wd 2cell

Was at practice last night, the tekin's are tough.with 17-5 I had my spx on 8 with a lrp motor and the tekins were Laps faster!!all of them, thye only one close was the newer speed passion.

Yesterday I spoke with some drivers ad my club.
We talked about the speed and power that the new speedo's have and what to do ad our club.
This year the stock class stays 13,5T lipo but I think that next year many drivers want a 17,5T as a new stock class.
We have a class for 17,5T but it is forbidden to use with the Tekin a sensor.
All cars are driving sensorless.
This way we lowered the speed for the beginners and so we made that a Ezrun combo set can be used.
The drivers that I spoke yesterday would like to see a 17,5T sensord class.
When I tested the 13,5T vs the Speedpassion on my home track. It was clear that the power without the Turbo is already bigger than I had with a 10,5T and the V200.
My lap times were slower than last year but this was because of the tires.
Still they were better than last year when I used the same tires.
I was 0,7 sec faster than I was last year with the same tires.
The grip was low but the power was incredible. Also did the car drive very smooth and I liked the power without using the Turbo. The Turbo was way to much.
This means that I can still win a lot of time as I can handle the speeds.
But for no I like it very much.

1 cell lipo mod requires the use of a Pro. Lower voltage means higher current draw so you will need the RS Pro.
The current limiter we have is not created by current limiting fet's. Our is software driven and will not create higher speedo temps.
If you're having radio calibration issues there are a few things to check. Check your nuetral width and make sure it's not too low for your transmitter. Understand that transmitters often have linkages, etc on the trigger that do wear over time.
Also as others have suggest make sure to set your epa's evely on throttle/brake so in the case of the M8 I reccomend 140/140, calibrate the speedo and go.
