Tekin RS ESC sensored
IMO sell it and buy a duo 2 or ballistic. I've been through the same thing.

What do you mean by this sentence? There is marks on motor that goes to + sign and there is one mark on motor end plate. So where should that mark be for good results?
I found my problem for no punch... it was one broken power cap leg... My mistake...
But now I have heat problem (I think so). Today on practice I was driving fast and my temps went to ~65C. I am using 2S LiPo with RS Pro and Duo 2 17.5 motor in WGT car and at the moment my settings are:
timing boost 35
turbo boost 5
delay 0,4
ramp 2
start ~1700
end ~10000
My roll out is about 52mm. If I do turbo 0 there is maybe 2-4 degrees lower motor temp but I loose speed on straight... There were some suggestions to go to 40-50 on timing boost but I chose to test lower numbers first and not cook motor or esc...
So I am looking how to lower motor temperature and not to loose speed. Any suggestions? Or maybe 60-70C is ok for Duo 2 motors?

You have now a good motor temp.

I'm not like this tekin. I've been having a problem with my car completly slowing down 3-4 min in a race or whatever. What's the deal about this ?

do you mean you loose straight away speed,it may be the turbo add 10 to your throttle end point

Thank you Tekin for very good products and thank you guys for answering even lazy questions!

No problem.
Like i already suggested a page or so back, lose the turbo, put 50 boost and lower your rollout to first 40mm or something and watch temperture. When it spools up too fast out of corner then the rollout is too low and you can put a bigger pinion on.
use the start ~1700 till 9000-10000 end rpm. As long as you lower your rollout it will be fine. Believe me, i drove 7 minute race and only had 45-50 degrees motor temp afterwards and had plenty of speed and out of the corners it just hammerd. I had throtle profile 4 on the esc. I am not a guy that likes to cook his motor and would never suggest anyone to use something that would do that. If you are still afraid to cook your motor then temp your motor after 2 minutes and do it after every 2 minutes or so while practising with this setting. You will see.

it is fine and fast through the first 3 mins or so but falls on its face bad like litterly slows down completly like if your gonna blow up the motor but the motor is only about 160 deg at that point ..
tekin pro with a lrp x12 13.5
profile 5 .. turbo timing at 40 and boost at 10 end rpm at 12000 and start at 4600
ramp at 3

If so set your EPA ad 90% recalibrate your radio and than set the EPA back to 100%. If not what is your Turbo delay?
And what is the timing on the LRP X12 motor standard?

I think a Turbo ramp of 2 is enough and a bit higher turbo delay would do the trick.
Anyone try to get a castle link working in place of a Hotwire? They are both just serial to USB converters I would think. Can anyone check your port settings that have a hotwire and let me know the baud rate when its hooked up?
Thanks.
Thanks.

i have a touring car... no it not just like it doesnt have top speed it just falls on its face like it i had no battery which im running a thunder power 5000 40c and theres a couple guys at the track thats happening to them aswell . my turbo delay is at 0.0
well i have a spectrum and i already did that trick i set my travel for my throttle to 140 and reset everything to radio and the esc then set it back to 150 and it still slowed down .. its like if the speedcontrol is shutting down or somthing.
