2 = 4 degrees every 1/10th second
3 = 6 degrees every 1/10th second

Is that every 10/th within the RPM range? How does this work with Turbo Boost? Does Turbo boost add all that timing at once where it is in the ramp?

Also, what is the ramp timing added to? 0 or the motor timing you have set? For example if I set the timing on the ESC to 50 and have ramp set to 3 does that mean it is 56 degrees after the first 1/10th?
The turbo ramp refers to turbo boost exclusively, the start/end RPM refers to timing boost exclusively. Turbo ramp timing is added in addition to the timing value you've set for timing boost. Both timing AND turbo are added to your motor timing, which can only be changed by adjusting the endbell. Using your scenario of 50 degrees of timing boost, if the turbo comes in after all 50 degrees of timing are added (i.e. a long turbo delay setting is used), then turbo ramp 3 would give you a total of 56 degrees of added timing 1/10th of a second after the turbo kicks in.

Sorry man - I have my box for a 13.5 Duo 2, not a 17.5.

Duo 2 13.5 Specs

RPM = 14089 @ 5.0V (2817.8 RPM per 1 volt)
Power = 56W @ 8.2k
Eff = 82.6% @ 12.5k
Torque = 113.5 Nmm

Great explanation. Thank you! So what is the start RPM and end RPM used to determine? Is the timing boost added linear to that range? So for example if the timing boost is set to 50 is the timing boost 0 at the start RPM and 50 at the end RPM (and 25 somewhere in the middle)?

Is there a document that explains the functions of the speedy? Mainly the new functions like turbo and rpm? Why would I use a particular funtion, under certain conditions etc etc??

Cheers

I don't think it can be linear in that range, since when you increase timing, you increase RPM's as well...

One more question, what happens if the turbo is set prior to all the timing boost being added? Does it get suddenly added in the middle or wait until the turbo delay after the highest RPM is set? I was having a problem this weekend with the turbo not kicking in until the middle of the straight despite having it set to .2 (and it wasn't kicking in for at least half a second).

its right above the apply settings button, if it's not there, you may not have the right version installed.
