The Tekin and the SPX are on that track quit the same. I have just a bit more speed corner out but from the rest it's the same.
Most difference comes with the setup of the car.

The Tekin driver is driving in the B final.
He is also going faster sins he uses my car setup and speedo setup.

The LRP TC can also keep up with the Tekin and the SPX. they have a bit less power corner out but a good driver goos still very fast with it.

This layout stays for up coming week and than we get an other layout were we get more difference between the speedo's.

Still on this layout you see the difference between the speedo's. It's not that much but it's there.
I win the most in the 3 corners after the straight.

I find a 10,5 lipo quit fast. It's like mod but some drivers drive on this track with a 4,5 Lipo.

This is from Saturday.

The Green car is a Tekin and the yellow a LRP driver.
Both with a LRP 10,5 X11.

I was faster than the yellow car that is currently the nr 2 of the Fun drive.

Seems the yellow is faster cause of better steering? They seem to be equally fast on the straight.

My setup with a 200mm pancar 13.5t duo2 with 2s

Motor timing 12 (standard)
boost 18
Turbo full (0,2seconds)
rollout 33mm

This is on a small track with roughly 18mtr (59Feet) straight (MACH indoor track). Seems a lot of timing and high rollout but it was as fast as the other cars but temperature was only 35-40 degrees Celcius (95-104F) in a 7 minute race. Other motors were hotter then mine. So i am happy how it is going on a small track. Just need to work out now how to do it on a big gas track.

I use 0 Boost and max turbo with a turbo delay of 0,4sec.
I use a heavier gearing than the green car.
The top speeds are the same. It's most in the steering and a little bit acceleration.
It's how you come the corner out that makes you go faster. As the green car comes better out of the corner, he would be a little bit faster than the yellow car in top speed but this is a very little difference.
The 10,5 lipo is fast on such a small track but I love it.
It depends more on the driver than on the speedo and motor.

The RS vs. RS PRO will feel identical as they're running the exact same profiles.

The more fet's in the pro allow it to handle lower turn motors.

just fyi,

i have heard that in testing the bmc(KO), they are pulling fets out of the speedo and it seams to give the speedo better power

Thats is true on the mambas also.
The newest mambas has less fets.

But i am interested in the RS due to size.
RS Pro is a bit pricey...

Any idea as to why this might be? Seems backwards to my brushed-motor/ESC mind

i think it is because less components will require less current to run it. if you look at current to run a circuit and resistance of the circuit is directly related to each other if you reduce the resistance by parralleling components, then it increase the current require to run the circuit.

But then if you need to run Faster motors u need more of them components to Keep the right Pulse/Wave to control the motor.

Or you can run less with new Fets, but need a way to get rid of the heat building up in ur Circuit board.

Hence RS Pro running more Fets but no real heatsink beside the Posts.
And the Mamba Max Pro is running a huge heatsink with less fets.

Its a tideous balancing act between More Fets Less Fets.
Getting rid of heat and the software. My issue is really Size and Money...

But back to my question. I know how it is on paper but paper is not always real life. sooo

RS might run hotter than the RS Pro on lets say 6.5t ?
Has this been confirmed by any one ?
Tekin already says RS uses same Software than Pro and are in no way different besides the motor limit. But again what about the heat ?

Thanks
-Pearl

Yes, I've seen less temp LEDs on the RS-Pro vs. RS with the same motor setup. This was 10.5 indoor TC, which is less temperature intensive than a 6.5 would be.

Will running the motor+ESC timing too high damage the ESC?
