I've seen most of our team guys around 6.0 down to as low as 6.8 with a 120 ft straight away.

Derek Stephansen was Tq'd and won the Roar Region 12 champs last weekend on a track with those demensions. I'll have his setup sheet ready to post as soon as I get it from him.

He was running a Tekin RS PRO, Redline 13.5 and the 200 software. I believe he was somewhere around 10 on the motor, 25 timing boost and full turbo with .5 delay. I heard he was Fdr's around 6.8 to 6.9 in his Xray.

Hey guys, check out this video of a Tekin RS (Not Pro) in action amongst some of the nation's fastest drivers.

BTW, the yellow car is running the Tekin.

I enjoy watching a good race/battle. What chassis were the 2nd and 3rd place cars battling toward the end?

Ok, maybe somebody here can help me out. I'm having a bit of problem with my RS. I downloaded and installed the 3.25 hotwire software from the tekin website. When I try running the program, I get a little red screen telling me it cannot connect with the database and I need the lastest version. I thought I did have it. What am I doing wrong here.

Bill.

Randy Pike, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease do NOT mention new software. I'm still getting over the drama and 30 pages of questions on when v200 was coming out, I need time to recover before you start us all off again!

I Used with my 10,5 on 5 cell also a 6.0 to 6.87FDR.
I only do this with my Redline motor.
Boost 20
Turbo max
Turbo delay 0,5
Motor on 10

Can the 13,5 handle more timing?

a little off topic but how do you calculate rollout from a touring car? I want to compare the fdr and my rollout, but with a pancar you don't use fdr as such.

with pancar it is:
diameter tire times pi devide by spur x pinion

Touring car is?

Spur / Pinion = PDR
Sample PDR: 84T spur / 22 T pinion = 3.818

PDR x DTR = FDR (DTR = Drive train ratio, or ratio of pulleys)
For an Xray, the DTR is 1.7 (34/20)
Sample FDR: 3.818 x 1.7 = 6.49

Tire Diameter x 3.14 (value of PI) = Tire Circumference
Tire Circumference / FDR = Rollout
Sample tire circumference: 63 mm x 3.14 = 197.82mm
(or 7.788 inches)
Sample standard rollout: 197.82mm / 6.49 = 30.48mm
7.788” / 6.49 = 1.2”

Rollout = (tire diameter * 3.1416) / ((spur / pinion) * internal gear ratio)
