So can you turn the end bell timing on a novak 21.5 motor?

Hotwire does not work directly on a mac OS, but many on this thread have used bootcamp to dual boot or used a virtual OS like parallels to successfully run hotwire. I personally dual boot my Macbook and used a free copy of windows xp from the local college.

For track tuning you have most of the options right on the esc with drag brake, brake strength, throttle profile, deadband, motor type/reverse...
The real kicker is the Sensored only settings with boost (and turbo in v200) and these settings can be set at home on the comp for the most part.

You can turn the endbell and adjust the timing...the problem is that you have no clue what you are changing the timing to because the cans are not marked.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it next time out.

If your running this motor in VTA I would recommend turning the ring about halfway and setting the ESC timing to 29 or 30 and see what the temp is after running for 3 min.

OMG!!!!
you guys werent kidding about the hotwire making the sppedo come alive. I had to drop 6 teeth on the pinion! this thing is amazing. Tekin you have a customer for life. anybody wanna buy a gtb LOL? this tekin 10.5 is ballistic. what FDR do you guys reccomend as a strating point for a 110' straight. right now i am TP 3 with boost at 22. this thing is so ridiculosly fast its not even funny. Randy by the way tech support was a great help. my reccomendation is for them to not drink so much coffee in the morning. the guy was wired!!!. no probs though he was great. Tekin customer support is gonna give novaks a run for its money. Randy i think its awesome that you are on here several times a day answering questions. no other team manager will do that that i know of. Keep up the good work and thank god for Tekin power.

Anyone has any idea of a baseline setup for a 21.5 redline motor and an RS pro speedy? Track is twisty carpet with a lot of acceleration/brake and a 25m straight.

I am new to brushless so am not sure where to start so as not to burn everything on the first run.

What's a good FDR range for a 13.5 tekin esc motor combo? Yes, I did search but came up empty .

Just got my Hotwire today.

Excellent piece of kit, can't wait to try out my new settings at the track tomorrow.

I believe there was a discussion on making the interface more basic? Here's another vote for that

5.7 depending on your settings and track layout. What are your setting at currently?

we have the 3rd leg of turkish nationals this weekend,
because of the success of rs pro in the first 2 leg, now 6 of 14 drivers will use the RS Pro on 3rd...
i hope we can see 200 software before the race, i can't wait to try turbo,
we have a huge straight and very fast corners to try
we will all be running 2s lipo , 3t and 4t lrp x12 motors, turbo can do a great job,
all the eyes are looking for randy to release now
