OK guys. Here is a pic of the RS Pro in my TC5, ready for some action tomorrow at the Reedy warm-up race at Speedworld. Temperature is expected to be about 80f and track temps regularly reach 140f if the sun is out. I will be putting it through it's paces with LRP 3.5 and 4.0 motors and I will be testing a regular RS in offroad on Sunday with a 13.5. I'll let you know how it goes.

That's an LRP 4 turn. I haven't messed with timing on mod motors yet. Advancing the timing on a 13.5 or higher turn motor can make a big difference though.

The wires are to big, I can't see the speed control.

Yeah, it sucks it hide it in there. I could have mounted it the other direction but I wanted the posts towards the outside to get cooling since I'm running lipo and 3.5 motor.

Just got back from running the Reedy warmup race with the new RS Pro. It was great. I had to put a fan on it for the 4 turn LRP and track temp of 130f but it ran flawless. I TQ'd and won mod and set new track record for single lap and fastest overall run. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow in the 2wd running 13.5.

Since I was at the track I just zip tied it to the wires, blowing down on the posts and cap. I'm going to rearrange things a little to clean it up and get better airflow. I'll post pics when I have it done.

OK, here is my new layout. Should get more air to the speedo. I connected the fan straight to battery power so it will put out a bit more air.

I had always had good luck with Tekin products in the 80's. I had been looking at other competitors out there. But after reading this thread and my past experience with Tekin's customer service and products. I'll be going for this set up.

The only problem is... Everybody is outta stock!

Good job guys. It's good to see you back in business.
