Thanks
It may be possible but I'd likely not attempt it.

There are a lot them here to look at http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire/esc...up-sheets.html

That's fast lap so your gearing will likely be much different. Hara's 11.5 setup was on a huge outdoor track.

10.5 boosted is not very common for sedan carpet racing. The safest method is not to use boost or turbo. Tune with can timing and gearing. You can add turbo and boost later if needed. I would just throw some turbo at it if needed. Good fans and temps are important.

Wondering about a 14 second lap times with that type power available. That must be a very large and/or very technical carpet track. We race on a 82' x 36' Ozite rug and fast lap times for 17.5 blinky is always sub 10 seconds on several different layouts.

Using the Hotwire for the ESC there's a check box to reverse motor direction.

That's very easy with the Hotwire.

Or by onboard tuning here:

Tekin RS Gen 1

cuts out power when I case jumps, but a few seconds later, after rolling off the jump it comes back to life. Settings not being changed by wires making a button push.

Is this a common issue, or a bad cap, sensor board/wire, etc?

Randy, it's a DX3R/Savox setup with a Novak cap plugged into the receiver.

Have two others with the same setup. Happens when I case a large double or triple. Any hard landing, where I bottom out.

Ok,

Do me a favor and please on the bench car on wiggle the steering and watch the receiver led. Does it flicker at all? If so unplug the cap, retest. Worse or better?

If memory serves me correctly, this subject came up before.
Does depressing one or both of the buttons on top of the ESC cause the same symptoms?
If so, the internals of one or both of these switches may be actuating under the hard chassis slap. Use thicker servo tape (double up on what you normally use) to see if the issue goes away.
